The Family of Honor Spillar

The reason this page exists is because Honour Spillar married John Trevane. But it also holds information on other Spillar families who lived in the same area. So far this page has the St Germans and Landrake information.

Honour Trevan nee Spillar

Honour Spillar married John Trevane on 13 Dec 1757 at St Germans by banns. Both were described as "of this parish". Honour made her mark, John signed and the witnesses were Fernado Spillar and John Congdon. Their children baptised in St Germans were:

St Germans

Samuel Spiller and Elizabeth

Their child who was baptised at St Germans

Isaac Spiller and Ann nee Tom

Isaac Spiller and Ann Tom were married on 24 Jun 1713 at St Germans. Their children

Antony Spiller and Elizabeth

Their children baptised at St Germans

Anthony Spiller and Bridget nee Taylor

Anthony Spiller and Bridget Taylor were married on 9 Nov 1723 at St Germans. It is highly probable that this was his second marriage. Their children were baptised at St Germans

Jonathon Austin and Bridgett Spiller

Bridgett Spiller married Jonathon Austin on 31 Oct 1742 at St Germans. She was probably Anthony's widow since there was an Antony who was buried in 1737. I did not note if they had any children baptised there.

Ferdinando Spillar (c1728-68) and Jane nee Stephens

Ferdinando Spillar married Jane Stephens on 29 Jun 1751 at St Germans. Their children were:

William and Mary Spillar

I have not found their marriage, but they had a number of children baptised at St Germans
