The reason this page exists is because Honour Spillar married John Trevane. But it also holds information on other Spillar families who lived in the same area. So far this page has the St Germans and Landrake information.
Honour Spillar married John Trevane on 13 Dec 1757 at St Germans by banns. Both were described as "of this parish". Honour made her mark, John signed and the witnesses were Fernado Spillar and John Congdon.

Anthony Spiller and Bridget Taylor were married on 9 Nov 1723 at St Germans. It is highly probable that this was his second marriage. Their children were baptised at St Germans
Jonathon Austin and Bridgett Spiller
Bridgett Spiller married Jonathon Austin on 31 Oct 1742 at St Germans. She was probably Anthony's widow since there was an Antony who was buried in 1737. I did not note if they had any children baptised there.
Ferdinando Spillar married Jane Stephens on 29 Jun 1751 at St Germans. Their children were:
- 11 Oct 1751 - Elizabeth daughter of Ferdinando and Ann Spiller was baptised; so was this a case of Ann being written in place of Jane, or was Elizabeth his child by an earlier wife?
- 9 Apr 1756 - Honour daughter of Ferdanando and Jane Spillar was baptised; was this their own child, or was this an adult baptism shortly before Honour Spillar married John Trevan in the following year?
