Brief Description
Alfred Henwood Trevan is the eldest known child of Thomas and Mary Jane Trevan.
He was born in the St Germans registration district in third quarter of 1869 and moved to Manchester in Lancashire with his parents some time between the 1871 and the birth of his sister Julia in the Manchester registration district towards the end of 1877. At the time of the 1901 cenus he was unmarried and living in Manchester, as were his widowed mother and brother Thomas and sister Julia. His occupation was given as a Salesman in a Wholesale Dpy.
He married in 1906 in Barton upon Irwell in Lancashire and died in the following year.
The other death in Barton upon Irwell was of an Elizabeth in 1914 and it is presumed that she was his wife. Also it is presumed that Alfred Ralph was their son since he too was born in the Barton upon Irwell registration district.
