Brief Description

Not much is known of Frederick John Trevan and his wife Mary Jane, except that at the time of the 1891 census they were living at home with his parents, Adolphus and Ann. The census information shows that he was a house decorator. By the time that sons Charles and Adolphus were born he was described as a 'house painter journeyman'.

Note that the New Zealand branch are descended from a John William Trevan and Mary Jane Limpany, who was born in the same year as this Mary Jane.
