Henry Henwood Trevan was born in Millbrook in Cornwall and was baptised on 8 Jul 1838 at Maker. He was at home with his parents living on the quayside at in Maker for the 1841 and 1851 censuses, but has not been found in either the 1861 or 1871 censuses.
He had moved to London by 1865 when he married Emma Scoble.
He followed in his father's footsteps and became a carpenter.
He lived at 27 Ashdown Street in Kentish Town from before the 1881 census until his death.
His cousin John William Trevan's son James Henry Trevan was visiting with him at the time of the 1881 census.
Some of the deaths cannot easily be distinguished into family groups since there were 3 families living there.
As well as Henry and Emma, Henry's sister Julia Christiana Bennett moved there as did their brother Frederick and their nephew William Henry Wallis Roberts Trevan.
