All of the children of John Archer Trevan and Ann nee Watts were dead
before the 1891 census, as was grandson Matthew. The only descendent named Trevan who was alive on this branch was grandson Frederick Adolphus.
John Archer Trevan and Ann nee Watts and the majority of their children are buried in the Trevan burial plot in the churchyard at St. Endellion. When I visited in 1987 I checked the visitor's book and found that Ruth Trevan (my 3rd cousin 1 removed ascending) had visited in 1983, as had her nephew, my 4th cousin, Chris Trevan a month later. In 1985 Simon Trevan signed the visitors book, but I do not know which Simon it was since there are more than one.
Inside the church, to the left of the altar, are 5 plaques. One is to the former poet laureate, John Betjeman 1906-84, and the other 4 are to members of the Trevan family. The centre one is in memory of John Archer Trevan and Ann nee Watts. On the floor there are inscriptions to, among others, Ann's parents and brothers, as well as to some of the Henwood family of St. Teath who married into another branch of the Trevan's (see John Trevan (1776-1850) m Christiana Henwood. At the moment the Henwood information has not been added to this web-site but is available on my geocities site)

Outside in the churchyard there is a Trevan burial plot. According to the Little Petherick branch of the Trevan family,
there used to be metal railings around burial plot but these were removed during WWII as part of the war effort to reuse
non-essential metal objects to make planes and munitions.

- The History of Port Isaac and Port Quinn
by Dr. Frederick Trevan 1833/4 (copy at Cornish Studies Library, Redruth - ref 942.371; Hambly appears to refer to this book as History of Endellion by Dr Matthew Trevan. Either this is a misattributation or both Frederick and Matthew wrote a book on similar topics in the same year)
