Brief Description

James Edgar Trevan was born on 12 Jan 1887 at 26 Frederick Street. He was baptised at Charles Church on 2 Feb 1887. He followed in the family tradition of becoming a shipwright and worked at the Devonport Dockyard.

It is probable that it was his son who was known to my father as Uncle Jimmy who worked in the Dockyard and had a Maltese wife, although it may have been this James.
