Brief Description

It is not known where John and Susanna fit onto any of the Trevan (and variants) family trees.

It appears probable that Susanna was born and baptised at St Just in Roseland on 14 Aug 1774, daughter of Richard and Sarah Pearce.

After their marriage at St Just in Roseland in 1802, they appear to have remained in the parish where baptisms of 5 of their children and burials of 3 of them have been found.

Daughter Susanna Trevan and son John Pearce Trevan appear to have survived into adulthood. She most probably to have married to William Williams in Camborne on 27 Oct 1825. There is also a wedding of a Susannah Trevan to Thomas Lean at St Kew on 25 Feb 1832 at St Kew.

Son John Pearce Trevan died in 1839 and his death was registered inthe Bodmin Registration District, which at that time included the parishes of Endellion and St Teath, which is where the Treveighan family originated.

The other similar name found in the same parish is Thomas Trewan who was baptised son of Ann Trewan on 15 Feb 1801
