    Address: late of Park Villa Saint Endellion in the county of Cornwall
    Description: Staff Surgeon Royal Navy
    Proved by: Frederick Adolphus Trevan of the Terrace Her Majesty's Dockyard Devonport in the county of Devon Surgeon Royal Navy the brother and Thomas Wolferstan of 22 Princes Square Plymouth
    Personal Estate: gross 14868 pounds 16 shillings and 9 pence, resworn Sept 1894 15575 pounds 1 shilling and 7 pence, net 14654 pounds 4 shillings and 11 pence
    Date of death: 13 Nov 1889

    Beneficiaries: each of Frederick Adolphus Trevan Surgeon R.N. and my friend Thomas Wolferstan Solicitor Plymouth the sum of 500 pounds ... and I require the said trustees to hold upon trust all my real personal estate and effects for the following purposes viz to secure unto and to pay to my sister Mrs Elizabeth Hingston Scott 5000 pounds To secure unto and pay to my God child Marion Wolferstan 100 pounds To secure and pay to Thomas Soper (Senior) of Port Isaac 50 pounds To secure unto and pay to Mrs Jane Lakeman 25 pounds To secure unto and pay to any other servant living in my house at the time of my decease (provided such servant has lived there for more than 12 months) and to my manservant to each the sum 12 pounds To cause to be sold by public auction within 12 months of my decease my house at Park Villa with all Garden-land Stock ... to be divided equally between my said brother and three sisters Mrs Michell Mrs Pearse and Mrs Scott with the provision that if any of them my said brother or sisters shall die in my lifetime his or her share shall go equally to the survivors except in case of such brother or sister leaving issue in which case the issue shall take equally between them, if more than one, the deceased parents share and with provision as to the share of my sister Mrs Anne Michell, that the share shall remain in the hands of my trustees that Mrs Michell shall receive the income from the same for her life and upon her decease that that such share be divided into two equal parts that one half shall be paid to her son Edmund Hambly on his attaining the age of 24 or should he be deceased to her other children in equal portions and the other half of Mrs A Michells share be divided equally between the remaining children of my sister Mrs A Michell on their attaining age ... I direct that my trustee Thomas Wolferstan being a Solicitor shall be at liberty to act as such in the Trusteeship & Executorship of my estate and make the same professional charges as any other Solicitor might legally do.

  2. 1890 - Elizabeth Moon Trevan nee Hingston
    This was 2nd time that her will was proved. Press here to go to the first time in 1885.
    In the High Court of Justice Principal Probate Registry
    Be it known that Elizabeth Moon Trevan (wife of Frederick Trevan) late of Port Isaac in the parish of St. Endellion in the county of Cornwall deceased died on the 18th day of November 1884 at Port Isaac aforesaid having during her coverture with the said Frederick Trevan by virtue of certain powers and authorities vested in her by the last will and testament of her father Richard Hingston deceased bearing the date the 20th day of December 1856 duly proved in the District Registry at Bodmin of Her Majesty's Court of Probate on the 19th day of October 1860 made and executed her last will and testament bearing the date the 24th day of November 1883 and thereof appointed Andrew Hingston Matthew Trevan and George Arthur Scott Executors.
    And be it further known that on the 15th day of July 1885 Probate of the said will of the said deceased limited so far only as concerned all such personal estate and effects as she the said deceased by virtue of the said will of the said Richard Hingston had a right to appoint or dispose of and had in and by her said will appointed and disposed of accordingly but no further or otherwise was granted by authority of Her Majesty's High Court of Justice at the District Probate Registry thereof at Bodmin to the said Matthew Trevan and George Arthur Scott two of the executors therein named the said Andrew Hingston the other executor named in the said will having renounced the probate and execution thereof
    And be it further known that the said deceased was possessed of or entitled to personal estate over which she had no disposing power and concerning which she is dead intestate and that the said Frederick Trevan her lawful husband survived her but died without having taken upon himself Letters of Administration of such personal estate.
    And be it further known that at the date hereunder written Letters of Administration of the Rest of the personal estate of the said Elizabeth Moon Trevan deceased (save and except any personal estate which vested in her as Executrix of any other person) were granted by Her Majesty's High Court of Justice at the Principal Probate Registry thereof to Mountjoy Pearse (of Clarendon Road Redland Bristol Shipbuilder) the surviving Executor of the will of the said Frederick Trevan deceased the lawful husband of the said deceased he having been first sworn well and faithfully to administer the same

  3. 1891 - Thomas Henwood Trevan

    Description: Carpenter, a widower
    Letters of administration granted 2 May 1891 after it was left unadministered by Elizabeth Jane Hicks wife of George Hicks daughter and one of the next of kin to John William Trevan of Victoria House, Old Laira Road, Plymouth, Carpenter's mate the son and one of the next of kin

  4. 1895 - Mary Jane Trevan
    Letters of Administration granted 25 Apr 1895
    Address: No 46 Torrington Square Bloomsbury, Middlesex
    Description: Spinster without parents and intestate
    Died intestate; letters of adminstration granted to Elizabeth Greedy of No 46 Torrington Square aforesaid widow the natural and lawful sister and only next of kin
    Gross value of personal estate: 200 pounds
    Date of death: 25 Feb 1895

  5. 1899 - John William Trevan
    Will proved at Exeter 11 Oct 1899
    Address: Victoria House, Old Road, Laira in the parish of Eggbuckland in the county of Devon
    Description: Retired Shipwright R.N.
    Proved by: Mary Haddy Trevan of Victoria House aforesaid, widow, the relict of the deceased, the sole executrix
    Estate: 315 pounds 11 shillings 4 pence gross, 115 pounds 11 shillings 4 pence net
    Date of death: 12 Aug 1899
    Beneficiary: This is the last will and testament of me John William Trevan Pensioner R.N. ... I appoint my wife Mary Haddy Trevan ... to be sole executor ... I give and bequeath all that my freehold dwellinghouse and garden (being the house in which I now reside) situate in the Old Road Laira ... unto my beloved wife Mary Haddy Trevan for her own separate use and benefit absolutely I give and devise and bequeath unto my wife Mary Haddy Trevan all my money securities for mony all my interest in the leased property at Millbrook in the Parish of Maker in the County of Cornwall and all my Estate and Effects of what nature or kind ...
