The tripoint Germany/France/Luxembourg

This photo is taken from Schengen (L) towards the tripoint. The actual tripoint is in the river Mosel behind the chimney of the house. The village at the other side of the river is Perl (G). Also at the other side in the right corner is Apach (F).
Towards the tripoint the Luxembourg/France border is in the middle of the river. From the tripoint to the north, the Luxembourg/Germany border is on each side of the river, leaving the river as a condominium.
Schengen is wellknown by the Agreements of Schengen, which came in effect march 1995. (Some) members of the European Union decided to abolish the customs formalities between them.

Very near the tripoint I found this bordermarker on the border of France and Germany.
