European objects

Not many objects can be really called "European", although I found one item:
"The centre of Europe".
Tripoints, where the borders of three (European) countries meet, and (European) bordermarkers, other then from Dutch borders, are also on this section.

Furthermore there are photos of former GDR border patrol boats.

Europese objecten

Er zijn niet veel objecten die je echt “Europees” kunt noemen, maar ik vond er een: “Het middelpunt van Europa”.
Drielandenpunten, waar de grenzen van drie (Europese) landen elkaar raken, en (Europese) grensmarkeringen, niet die langs de Nederlandse grenzen, vind je ook in deze sectie.
Verder vind je hier nog foto’s van voormalige Oost-Duitse grens patrouilleboten.

Near de town of Oignies-en-Thiérache in the municipality of Viroinval (Belgium) is the former Geographical Centre of the European Union (15 member states).
It was founded on 31st May 1996.

Vlakbij de stad Oignies-en-Thiérache in de gemeente Viroinval (België) bevindt zicht het voormalig Geografisch Middelpunt van de Europese Unie (met 15 lidstaten). Opgericht 31 mei 1996.
