Over the years I carry quite an amount of
devices with me everyday. Me as a High school student, the gadget
not only have to be cool. But also well build and long lasting.
and I think I pretty much succeeded (well so far) in finding them.
My main brains device is my old reliable Cassiopeia e-125. I'm
using it sinds 2 grade, so that must be for 3 years now. does
it ever stop working. of course it doe sometimes. but i always
got it back in business. One great thing is that it is so simple.
it's simple (even for me) to open it upp and fix part broken solder
point or you can even Overclock the thing :D (mine's now running
@ 180mhz). Few specs: 150mhz Mips CPU (180mhz for me), 32mb ram,
16 mb rom (for OS).One big plus is the bright 16bit color screens
that still stand up against the modern ipaq's. For expansion it
has a CF slot. for now it fills in al my needs. But I am thinking
about an replacement.
Some accesories are my Stoweaway
keyboard, I recommend this to anybody who travels a lot and don't
want to carry a laptop with them. its very light and work like
charm. The Linksys Wlan Cf
card, great for surfing webpages or listening to shoutcast radio.
other hardware thingies for my e-125 are: an extra battery, 128
+ 512 MB Cf storage cards, My Sony earbuds and my Siemens S45
phone.
The cellphone allows me to connect to the internet
through GPRS On my Pocket-pc anywhere I want! |
