Some of my linocuts are, what I like to call, Single Element (SE) linocuts, that is the prints are in fact
multiple (16 or more) prints of one single small linocut element. In "Snakes" this may be difficult
to see, but in "Martha Maria" it is more obvious.

An example of application is my business-card, as shown in the figure at the left below.
Four such cards together make the figure in the middle, and 16 cards lead to the figure at the right.
The cards can be composed in different ways, leading to different figures.

Another example of application is a more complicated construction.
At the left below, the basic linocut tile is given (the basic tile for "Martha Maria").
The circle at the right is filled with 224 distorted tiles.
