Balsa tanks for diesel engines, how you could make them
and not so many words to read this dreadful story.
| Sometimes, when you have to fly a diesel combat model (by coincidence
or what ever, and you also build
the models yourself (it is possible) you also need to make a diesel tank
yourself. Tomas Mejzlik is selling a lot but not anything unless you order a series of 50 or more. Who wants to order 50 balsa tanks. OK, to make a metal tank you need to be an expert in cutting metal, with your wife scissors , and also in soldering the parts together. Wife not happy and it can be done different. Even my sister is capable of making a BALSA TANK and this saves time, FOR ME. So a short story about how we make them and for sure it can be done differently or better . Frequently Asked Questions: -Q- isn't a balsa tank leaking because Balsa is porous?? Q- Is it strong enough?

| We glue the balsa tank with 10 seconds glue, hot stuff. Very important, you can't glue a tank with hot stuff when you use it for glow engines. Nitromethane is dissolving the glue. |
