We currently have 6 Mals, and 3 of them are living with us. 3 are co-owned by us.
Altough we had dogs all our lives, we started out with Malamutes in 1990 with our first and only Ch. Cold Valleys Original Kinua. She was the one who started it all.
Kinua was our foundation-dam and queen of Alyeshka Anoke kennels.She gave us so many beautiful and sweet children and passed the good things on to her children and grandchildren.
Till this day we have been breeding occasionally and with a lot of succes.We sometimes breed, and if we do, our goal is: To do the best, To get the Best!!!! All our breeding-stock is tested on hips and eyes.

And all this from in fact very limited breeding!
Besides the showing, we ofcourse also work with our Malamutes.That is what they are to supposed to do in the first place ofcourse. We train our dogs with a lot of bicycling, almost every day in wintertime, and train with a Roller and a kart. Unfortunately we don't have snow here to go sledding, so we have to do it with the wheels.But normally in trainingseason we work with them every day. So, either bicycling, mushing or just hiking. We think that a Malamute must be able to work . So the saying : We work our showdogs and show our working dogs, is a very true saying !
