# Circle (A_{35}): Schoch-FLower circle

### Definition

Let S_{1} be the point where the Schoch-line meets AB. The circle tangent externally to the circles through
S_{1} with centers A and B and to (O') is the Archimedean circle (A_{35}).[FvL, 28 Dec 2006]. Thomas Schoch
has suggested to name it "van Lamoen circle".

### Properties:

- The circle through S
_{2} (the point where the Schoch line meets (O)) with center O' is tangent
to (A_{35}) as well, cf. the first Schoch

- The common tangents of (A
_{35}) and the circles through
S_{1} with centers A and B, meet on the Schoch line in a point
equidistant to both tangency points and S_{1}. [FvL, 28 Dec 2006]
